Astrid Wolf-O'Hern, RYT

Yoga has been part of my life for 15 years and I have studied with teachers in both the United States and Innsbruck, Austria, where I was born and raised. I decided to seriously pursue the path of yoga in 2006, when my younger son turned two. I completed my 200 hour certification in Milwaukee, WI at the Kanyakumari Aryurveda and Yoga Wellness Center and became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. In October 2010, I will be completing the 500hr level training with Scott Anderson at Alignment Yoga in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin.

My interest in yoga has evolved from seeking a form of exercise that goes beyond mere physical activity to studying the healing powers of this more than 2000 year old practice. Upon completion of my training, aside from teaching group classes, I will be qualified to work as a yoga therapist on a one-on-one basis, helping people find a level of ease in their body and mind.

Since 2007, I have been teaching many different group classes in various settings. Through yoga, I have been able to engage in a wonderful journey and I am excited to share my knowledge of and fascination with this ancient practice. Please join me at the Reach Center in Eugene for one of my classes resuming in September 2011.
